First Presidential Debate - 2012

Last night, I got home and decided to watch the first presidential debate. Politics aren't really my strong suit, but I realized that in four years from now, I will be voting in the presidential election. While watching the debate, I realized just how frustrating politics can be. Over the past four years, I can see what has happened while Obama has been in office. He has solved some problems, but has created more along the way. Our national debt has increased a few trillion dollars, gas prices have sky rocketed, we have outsourced more jobs overseas, and the unemployment rate has doubled. During the debate, Obama contiually began each of his answers with, "I would like to talk about..." and refused to answer the question at hand. All I have to say, is that if Romney continues to roll like he did at the first presidential debate, he just might pull out the win.

Stimulation

I first started stimulation in the eighth grade by request from my English teacher. The few post from that year have since been removed, but stimulation itself remained. This year as a sophomore in English III, many of my friends have been required to start blogs. I decided to "join the club" and begin re-posting on stimulation. While my original posts are floating in cyberspace, my original intention and message is still clear to me - everybody deserves to be the better version of themselves. This isn't easy to accomplish, but it isn't difficult either. You can't expect to be the nicest, most talented, prettiest, or most generous person in the world, but you can work to glorify those specific traits that - believe it or not - exist in everyone (to a certain extent). And that's what the word stimulation means to me.
